Hi! I'm Amy Daws
I am a Leadership Coach and Facilitator
I founded Growing Global Leaders in 2016 to support leaders in personal growth and professional development. I am an innovative collaborator, passionate about growing healthy leaders and organizations. As a leader and coach for 25 years, I have held senior executive roles in HR and Communications. A dual national of the US and UK, I have an extensive background in education and executive management in multicultural organizations.
My background in leadership development and cross-cultural communication led me into global mobility coaching for top executives at Colgate-Palmolive, Bausch & Lomb, Diageo, and Sumitomo, and I continue to coach leaders and teams to build high performing organizations and healthy team dynamics. I am also lead instructor of a post-graduate university program in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance (LCOP). Additionally, I am certified to deliver and analyze EQ, DISC behaviors, 360s, and Driving Forces assessments. I am a bilingual Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF).
I chaired the board of the Valley Against Sex Trafficking (VAST) and enjoy hiking, singing, and flying on the trapeze. I am passionate about bridging communication gaps and helping diverse people collaborate.

What People Say
“During my coaching sessions with Amy, she helped me explore and understand my communication style as it relates to others’ styles, which helped me improve my ability to influence outcomes even where I did not have a clear line of authority. Amy has a strong ability to notice where cultural differences between Germany and the US or subtle nuance of communication could be causing a misunderstanding, and how to correct that. When it came to making difficult decisions about how to approach people-related challenges, I sometimes found that I was focusing on a symptom, and Amy’s insightful questions would help me discover the root cause of the problem so I could address it at a deeper level that led to long-term improvement.”
Peter Fendel, Chief Technology Officer, Thorlabs

“During five months of collaboration, I developed a deep respect for Amy’s understanding of the challenges leaders face. She has an unusual ability to help people build their self-awareness and unearth their driving principles, having wrestled with similar issues in her own leadership journey. I highly recommend her for the knowledge and insight she brings.”
Paul DiPietro, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader, PwC
